That View

We’ve had a generator running at our house since the storm on Monday. Today we ran out of propane. Supposed to get a lid yesterday but now they say probably today. Blipping while out on our walk. Sigh.

Update: The propane people appeared at noon and The Husband got the generator going again. The stupid thing is - the power company fixed all the lines in our area on Wednesday or Thursday, EXCEPT THE ONE THAT DIRECTLY FEEDS OUR HOUSE!!! And now, of course, they have much bigger issues elsewhere because we're just one house, and there are still entire neighborhoods elsewhere that are out. So who knows when someone will see fit to come back here? I just sent an email telling them they should pay us for the propane we use between the day they called our area fixed and the day they actually FINISH the job by fixing the downed line behind our house. Pfft.
