Goosander

Today I walked round the pond at Netherblane. One solitary female goosander had the pond to herself. There was still a sheen of ice on parts of the surface so she was diving and swimming on the clear water.In this shot I like the reflection, but also the contrast between the ice behind  and the watery reflections in the foreground.
