From Cramond Island

My fist visit to Cramond Island today.  It's just a mile to walk across and is tidal so you need to take care!  Its a very interesting place to visit and good for anyone looking for treasure or pirates!
This area was strategic through the First and Second World Wars as can be seen from the buildings on the Island and the anti-boat boom made of concrete pylons.  We then walked along the river to Cramond Bridge and back ( see extra)-we were sad to see that The Cramond Inn has closed.
We were out with our walking group, and completed Park Run first-a good day for exercise.  And no rain
