A Tale of Two Hemispheres

It has rained for most of the day and we have just finished watching The Tourist, a 6 part drama set in the Australian Outback. It is of course now Summer in Australia and whilst I like the sunshine, I would find it hard to tolerate the searing heat of the interior of the continent. I read that one of the major problems experienced by the cast and the crew whilst making the series was the nuisance caused by the flies, Because there is so little water in the desert, they are attracted to the eyes. Today;s blip is some tulips from the local supermarket mixed with a bit of Australian warmth. All a bit bizarre!
