The Cook

We made the long drive from the coast to the Atlas Mountains today. We have been extremely unlucky with the weather. It has rained non stop. The medina flooded and the winds were so fierce we never managed to step foot on the beach. Our journey took ages today as the river burst and streams of terracotta water flowed across the road like molasses. We had to abandon our mini van for the final leg of the trip in favour of 4x4. All five of us holding our breath as we made the slippery trek along the edge of the road.
