Progress

My cousins H, B and I have been visiting my aunt for nearly 8 weeks now and progress is difficult to monitor, especially when you have a very limited time with her. H thought we should use a “score “ out of 10 to communicate to each other how in our view auntie was progressing when we visit.
H said that her visit was 9 yesterday and today I also have a 9, I suggested that we should join the group in the day room and do some jigsaw puzzles, today’s blip is the one we finished together. Interaction with other patients and letting me bring back some laundry were all positive actions today.
I can see the auntie I remember slowly getting back to herself again.

A very soggy ParkRun this morning was my only outdoor activity today, relentless rain and blustery conditions for nearly all of the daylight hours.
