Diamond Beach of Maryland

Happy Silly Saturday, a wonderful tradition begun by Admirer.

For a week I've been thinking about this picture - an ice cube with a Northern Lights background. 

One of the incredible locations in Iceland is called Diamond Beach. Giant pieces of ice from glaciers wash up onto a black beach. At certain times of day the view is stunning.

Today I was wondering how to do the beach and as I was walking Sam I noticed the salt on the path glinting in the sunlight and thought, "asphalt!"
