Witch Hazel

The last few days have been wet, then wet, and then wet again. However this afternoon , it stopped raining so we went to Arley.

There were only six other cars in the car park so rather than our usual road walk I suggested we try the garden. J has not been for a long time, and was OK with that, so that’s what we did.

The witch hazels are flowering. They are strange flowers, and brighten a grey January day.
