Hill

I usually share views of Wrose Hill from the opposite side of the valley, but here I’m more side on. I liked the way the rise and fall of the silhouetted buildings echoed the outline of the hill somewhat. 

I’d walked over to Thackley for some football, but having done an early morning check as to what fixtures were still on, forget to re-check before setting off. If I had, I’d discovered that the game had been called off due to a waterlogged pitch. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me, and won’t be the last.

Still, I got a walk out of it. And this view, taken from the edge of Thackley Cricket Club. But it it was too late to divert to another fixture.
