From the kitchen window

We can see this magnolia from the kitchen window. The flowers are short lived. This one opened this morning and by tomorrow, if the sun shines, it will look like the extra.

From the kitchen window we can also see the baby  blue tongue  cautiously poke his head out from his hiding place under a flower pot. No chance of a photo. At the slightest movement he reverses back under cover.
