Skipper

The start of a few days on the Leeds and Liverpool canal for our Easter holidays, booked at a time when we might have hoped for somewhat warmer weather! We picked up our boat, 'Rosie's Drum', at Silsden at lunchtime and spent the afternoon getting to a mooring just beyond Skipton. Here's Beck at the tiller, trying to keep warm with a cuppa and several extra layers of clothing. Beyond her the hills were still highlighted with snow banks.
