Christmas lily....

or Flame lily is out in bloom today!  Usually it blooms around Christmas hence the name but the rains have been so sporadic lately and its only this last week that we have had any good rains at all!  Hoping they continue like this otherwise we may not have a great harvest in Zambia this year.

Mushrooms are also out in force with the rain and the heat....I love this time of year when I find so many bugs and little things to take photos of!!

Really lethargic today - a friend who has had covid came over for a cup of tea this morning - we stayed socially distanced of course as I don't want to give it to her again!!  Managed to process some of the photos of the wedding today too!
