A perfect church?
Went out for a walk this afternoon – quite a grey, dull day with not much expectation of finding anything interesting to photograph.
We passed our lovely church on the way, and as the sky was slightly less grey I decided to try a few shots. I'm not good at architectural photography but I did my best. For some strange reason the camera chose to use ISO 100 (it was on Auto ISO) which gave me a shutter speed of 1/30 which was far too slow, but I didn't notice, so it's a bit blurred. Never mind.
The church was built in 1874 and we started worshipping there two years before its centenary!
"The day we find the perfect church, it becomes imperfect the moment we join it." – Charles H. Spurgeon
