‘An Old Sports Car’

Spotted this MGB on my walk this morning.

With classic lines, and an original “D” number plate, it can be dated to 1966 - a shocking 56 years ago - and a year I certainly remember well!

That got me thinking - 56 years before that, in 1910, cars were in their infancy and sports cars barely existed
see Britain’s first sports car

That thought made me feel rather old!

(Just noticed it’s parked on a double yellow line. Still, it’s a very quiet street and on a Sunday morning when there aren’t any wardens about! All the same, hope the car wasn’t there long!)
