Going back

We had a nice lazy morning and I did a bit of pottering around outside and Rich did some garden table investigation.  

In the afternoon we went out for a bit of a drive and a Sunday roast, the area we had lunch was very near to where we had the problem with the flood and our car last year.  It all looked quite dry and we agreed if we saw any water we would turn back, however the road had no standing water so we carried on. 

The water which caused our previous car to be written off, really could not have been that high now that we can see the road and we were actually a good way through the water but at the time we could not really tell and what we did not know what the air intake on our previous car was really low.  Anyway we were fine but not sure it is somewhere we will be going to that often!

Back home, we lazed in front of the TV and watched a film.

We brought home our left over roast potatoes from lunch and so the fox will be happy with a bit extra tonight, he/she still comes every evening and we always try to put something out for them.
