Deer!

A very icy ride today which resulted in 2 riders coming down on some black ice. One came down quite hard and had to abandon. A local resident let her sit in his house whilst she waited for her husband to collect her.

Just before all this excitement we cycled alongside a herd of deer as they ran adjacent to us. We slowed right down and eventually the herd crossed the road ahead of us. This is a photo from one of the riders video. Then some of the riders saw 3 hares. So despite the tumbles it was a good ride
