Thank you for the memories

I heard today that a good friend died. She had been unwell and had spent Christmas in The Beatson so in some ways it wasn’t unexpected but it still hits hard. We first worked together in a primary school 1982 and again in 1988. It was the start of a long friendship. Working with her provided some of my happiest working memories but she was more than a work colleague. She was a good friend too.
Thank you for all the happy memories and fun times we had. I will miss you.
