Departure preps

Tomorrow, my mom returns to France after two months here. It feels like she just got here yesterday…

She’s nervous about flying under any circumstances but at the height of Covid, even more so. She will transit through four countries (the destination airport straddles both France and Switzerland) and connects through Amsterdam on the way in. What amazes me is that each of the three European countries has a different Covid requirement! So much for the E.U…. So the paperwork and testing regimen can be overwhelming (and always subject to change…). I think I have it sorted out and she will go for a rapid PCR test at 10am tomorrow, ahead of her flights that afternoon. Fingers crossed that everything works as it should…
