Darling buds etc..

So far we've had fruit-tree blossom and some crackingly lovely daffydowndillys but these are our first tulips of the year. L planted several hundreds around and about the garden and they've been emerging in strong- leafed clumps over the last fortnight. Today though they burst forth in all their red shining. What a treat! They are so full and gorgeous they look like poppies. With sun due over the weekend we can't wait to see what will spring up next.
