No. 9

Woke just before 2am in the early hours believing it to be at least 6am. Went downstairs to replace blankets on the hound as it was a chilly night. Went back to sleep but feel some zzz are missing today.
Quick trip to the market. It was very quiet in town. This could be due to the gloomy day, lack of car parking as the car park is being torn down or post festivities apathy.  Anyway it makes social distancing very easy and safe.
Took hound for a cold walk. Noticed water covering manhole cover in the middle of our street and water gushing into drain. At home sent email to Anglian Water. Response expected in 12 hours but arrived within one as an email and phone message. Turns out it's fresh water and a likely burst water main. Problem passed to Cambridge Water with a response window of 3 days!  Seems nobody else reported even those whose home it's in front of. 
Funny that the cable workmen were digging about nearby today or is this pure coincidence .  .  .
Hope to catch up on zzz tonight.
