Spring stuff

Friday night can be a walk to the brewery for local food and a pint. The tables are always wonderfully decorated with flowers and today there were blossoms and catkins amongst other things...each table is always different. I had 2 pints of duel......when someone told me this was the new beer a few weeks ago I heard "Jewel" and thought yeah I get that as a name for a beer like saying it's a gem of a pint etc etc. No it is "Duel" I find out on seeing the advertising gubbins. The advertising placard is the silhouette of 2 men standing back to back with guns. Why on earth? Well apparently the last duel in the UK officially recorded happened up the road!
