Winner Takes It All

All birds are the same I think -  attack the weakest. 

I WAs expecting ....lovely hawfinch just landing near and nibbling on the feed .... what I got was all out nuclear war ..... It was a food issue.

No Geneva Convention here! They attacked mercilessly and it went on and on. I would say that the camera settings wee initially absolutely on point for 'La La Land' birding but not this. Pretty horrific to see actually.

Not what I'd expected today as I rocked up to the Forest of Dean in grey dire weather but fed up of doing the accounts and needed a blip and bored! The hawfinch was being pedantic - never saw it.
