More rail trails

We rode north from Auburn, opting for an early start to avoid the heat of the day. It was a beautiful ride past vineyards and farms. Gently uphill on the way out, lots of freewheeling on the way home!

We passed several cellar doors on the way, without stopping. It was 7.30 am after all! One vigneron had converted an old railway station into a tasting room.
