A surprise find

It was beside the gate at the village church.

What a day!!! I’ve not been this busy and active for a long time. It was a U3A sewing day with B dropping me and my gear off at the hall before taking the car home. He then came  back at 2pm to get me. I then drove him to table tennis before heading home.

I had just unloaded my machine and stuff when I realised that I had left a long cardboard tube at the hall. I use it for transporting lengths of material that have been ironed ready  for assembly, so it must not get lost!!!

I gathered up Amber and my bag and drove back to the hall, just in time to retrieve the tube from the caretaker. Not sure if it was on its way to the bin!!

Home via the greengrocers and the butchers. I don’t normally have Amber in the car in the village, but she sat in the boot area watching all that was going on around her, so well behaved :0)

I had just got in and switched on the coffee machine when the phone rang. A nurses league committee member with a problem. 30 minutes later I had offered to do some things to try to resolve the issue. Will I ever learn :0(

Back out with Amber to walk up to meet B from his table tennis session. She was wearing the new harness that R & S bought her for Christmas to help stop her pulling. It worked well, not sure if it was the harness or the fact that I was in my ‘woman on a mission mode’, no messing with this lady!

By 5pm I crashed out on the settee for half an hour to recharge the battery, ready to crack on and make a return call to my nurse colleague.
