Pink Hyacinth

Hyacinths are high up on my list of flower faves. Friend I gave me a pot of budding bulbs yesterday and they have responded well to the their new home on the hearth. Very cheery!

The day itself has been a little dull like the weather, many hours of work (and one of writing). I was planning a brisk walk while the jacket potatoes were cooking this evening but when J came in soaking wet, I decided to stay in the warm and admire the flowers!
