Stans Lane

We read in the local news paper that a new path had opened between Watton and Griston. A 1 and a half mile walk, on our doorsteps with a park at either end. So, as the sun was shining today, we decided to give it a go.

The girls were both in great moods. Elizabeth walked and ran for most of the way there. Rebecca walked and ran a fair distance too.

We put down 4 geocaches and are just waiting for them to be published now.

The park in Griston was pretty good. Elizabeth was a bit scared of the big slide, but after REBECCA WENT DOWN IT, she gave it a go, and then kept going down it until we left!

It's a lovely walk. You can see the old airfield and hanger. There was a brisk breeze which made it quite cold though, so I will look forward to doing it again when it's a bit warmer.
