Kingfisher

Belted Kingfishers can be seen all along our creeks and rivers. Chatty little birds that nest in burrows along or directly over the water so they can be close to their food supply. This one likes to sit up in the osprey nest and fish. I have never been able to get close enough to get a picture before it gets nervous and flies to the other side of the creek. Thankful to have them as neighbors though.
