Birthday - a big one!!

A whole new decade and a bit daunting. Lots of wonderful birthday wishes today and a fabulous lunch at the Alpina restaurant at The Eyrie. A very luxurious hotel high up at the top of the Malahat just outside of Victoria. It was foggy and cloudy for most of our lunch and then the sun came out and we could see for miles down Finlayson Arm. This from our table.
I was pretty tired after the last few days. Lots of family which was wonderful but I don't have the stamina just now to do too much of that too many days in a row. Son offered to take me out to dinner but I asked to postpone til tomorrow. Spent a VERY quiet evening talking to no-one. ;-)
