First sighting

It was very misty this morning and I had planned to go on an organised walk with our group. I picked up a friend and we drove to the car park where the walk was starting. Fifteen of us set off on a slightly different route than originally planned as the mud was over boot deep in places on the original plan. I was wearing my wellies so was OK but you don’t have so much grip than with walking boots. The mist partially cleared and there was no rain so that was a bonus. I caught these snowdrops together with a fly over a garden wall enroute. An area I hadn’t walked before and I always like walking somewhere new. Another 5.3 miles to add to my “1000 miles boots on challenge” this year.
