View from the Window

Today we raised the window in Esme's upstairs window and watched a woman park her car, but then, instead of getting out, she sat there, as so many do, and checked her phone. Meanwhile Esmé spotted a hummingbird in the trees below so we watched the bird instead. 
That, and putting pretend band-aids everywhere, were the highlights of the day - though, just spending time together is highlight enough.
