View to the Hills

It is turning into a busy week - better than being bored with nothing to do!

After joining in one of Celia Henderson's, highly recommended, photoshop courses this morning we drove to Northallerton. I needed to bank a lot of Mothers' Union cheques and there is still a branch of NatWest there. I wonder how long that will remain. They have recently closed HSBC and VirginMoney. We used to have 4 banks in our town but sadly only Santander remain.

After doing various bits of shopping that we can't do locally we called in for lunch at one of our favourite cafés which is, almost, on our route home. Even though we only had poached eggs, avocado and bacon on toast (3 eggs!) I don't need to cook an evening meal.  This view is from the side road where we parked our car.
