Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4b - Day 33

The highlight of my day, a surprise parcel arrived containing a giant jar of homemade honey from Ely, full of Fenland sunshine! (Not sure if homemade is the right word. Homegrown? Homereared? Homeproduced?)

That sunshine was very much needed on another drizzly grey day, and a day spent making Alcatraz phone calls. Half an hour queuing to talk to the gas company got the contract renewal price brought down to last year’s price. Chased dad’s urgent hospital referral; just as well I did, 11 days ago the first department had failed to send on the referral to the second department. The secretary told me last week 900 of the hospital’s 2000 staff were off work. Scary...
