My Boy

A lovely catch-up chat with some long standing friends this morning.

Later our son visited. He is in the process of renewing his driving licence and needed a passport sized photograph. So the head and shoulder image required was done on my phone and then I printed a few for him, although he only needed one. In one hand he is holding a reflector and in the other he has a diffuser for the light source. Interesting what the camera doesn't show! The photo had to be in colour but I felt it would look better in b/w - must have a word with DVLA! He has been trying to do it all online and also tried phoning - no connection either way so he's resorted to snail mail!

Evening was a great fun camera club meeting on Zoom. Members had been given access to a selection of images to process a few in whatever ways they chose. The orginal images were from me and our prog sec so that everyone had no emotional attachment and able to process with complete freedom. It was so interesting to see how the same image had been approached in various ways.
