In the footsteps of masters

Yosemite!!!

A five hour drive to get here but Wow was it worth it! Coming through the foothills the scenery changed from undulating green hills to more dramatic mountainous terrain as the road followed the path of the cascading Merced River. Entering the National Park the excitement built as all of a sudden the iconic views started to open up. The sheer size of the trees, the cliffs, the skies took my breath away. Arriving at 5pm the sun was catching on the stunning Bridalveil Fall making a rainbow dance and the cameras and I got duly soaked trying to capture it. I'll find out if it worked when I get home! Now planning my early am and late pm shoots for the next 2 days...
