A Walk in the Shade

This morning I had a stroll along the local streets, and ended up at the lake.  Lots of people enjoying the water sports, cycling, but most of all just out walking, preferably in the shade.

This afternoon I have been sorting through my books, (mainly diaries), and reading some notes on my NZ ancestors.  Always interesting reading about another time, especially in the 1880's.  Glad that I didn't live then.  Another warm day +23C.
