Ups and downs

Went to pick up new lenses for my glasses. So in theory I should actually be able see what I’m posting ;)

I’ve also got a new and expensive prescription for progressive lenses. They sounded like the perfect solution however, it seems it’s going to take a bit of time to get used to them.

The advice was to point my nose at whatever I want to look at, then adjust up or down. Far and mid distance is fine, but I’m struggling with reading and typing…

I fear I’m looking like some sort of affected bird! I was also told to avoid using my regular reading glasses and persevere with these until I get used to them. Sigh… Any tips from progressive wearers are very welcome :)
