Warm again!

After dropping the car off for its annual service and Warrant of Fitness, Bean and I walked along the Alps2Ocean cycle trail (approved for walkers and dogs too) into Oamaru.

More precisely we headed for the Dog Park with high hopes of meeting lots of other doggydoodahs.

The lack of a dog-filled blip tells its own story. We were the only ones in the Park.

So instead I took this shot as we walked back to Weston along the trail under blue sky and awesome clouds. And it was warm again! Happy days.

Then it was back home to crack on with the picking, processing and grass control.

3.3kg raspberries. 900g blackcurrants. 850g redcurrants. 1 huge cabbage. 5 courgettes. 3kg spuds.

Raspberries are dehydrating. Currants have been given to friends. Cabbage is due to be made into sauerkraut tomorrow. Courgettes will be made into Bisque tomorrow. Spuds are in the cool store.

Phew… Over and out for the day.
