Crafting

At the refugee centre, there’s so much enthusiasm for knitting, crochet, embroidery, and other crafts. Today I led a group in watercolour painting. 
I finished watching the Met’s ‘La Rondine,’ really enjoyable. D and I watched a 1947 Kurosawa film called, I think, ‘A Wonderful Sunday,’ which shows a young couple struggling in war-damaged Tokyo. 
The family WhatsApp has been buzzing about politics today.
