"Above" The Stairs

A drive to Fremantle today proved to be worthy of my blip, Notre Dame uni students had their art exhibition showing some of their work in a building dated 1860, I wonder who the artist was who put the dots on the staircase to show they had more work on the floor "Above" The cat may know??
