Overnight Suprise

It seemed to be getting milder yesterday evening, so it was a bit of a surprise to get up to a very hard frost this morning.
But it did enable us to go down the field for the morning dog walk, as the ground was hard and not just muddy like it has been recently.
Then later on when the temperature had risen a little, the low spreading fir tree in the front garden looked rather lovely in the sunlight. So I grabbed the camera for my blip today.
