Tough decisions

Today has to be a photo of Dylan, he has had a slight limp for a couple of weeks which is gradually getting worse so a trip to the vets was needed. It wasn’t the news I wanted to hear, he has a torn crutiate ligament and so I have to decide if I put him through lengthy surgery or see if he can learn to live with it with some other adjustments to his lifestyle and pain relief. I just don’t know what to do, he means the absolute world to me but at 11 years old is it too much to put him through surgery and know the other knee could also then go? I really wish the sun would shine again
