Winter Flowering Cherry at Sunrise

A long working day, starting at 6 am and almost reaching the other 6 'o'clock before finishing.  The day was disrupted by meetings and a large number of emails about covid cases which scuppered my plans.  Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

As I watched the skies lighten this morning the pink and blue hues made our winter flowering cherry even more beautiful.  I quickly ran down and took a couple of photos of the sky through the tree's branches, hoping it might allow us to see the blossom, but of course the contrast in light levels made it impossible.  Will have to think about that again.
