Our Post Arrives

Postnord, a Danish company that took over the Swedish postal service, has turned it into an unreliable and expensive service, to the extent that people only send things in the post when there is absolutely no other way to do it. We are still waiting for some Christmas post we know has been on the way for at least four weeks.
However, the workers we actually meet are as good as ever and this blue van arrives around 3 pm every day.
An irrelevant but possibly interesting fact is that unlike all other traffic in Sweden, these post vans are right-hand drive so the driver can lean out and drop off the post. I wonder if the UK gets these blue vans when the 3-year lease is up?
