Blackbird Update

Hanging out the washing this morning I could hear chirping from the blackbird nest and saw the female up in a nearby tree with a beak full of worms. MMMmm, I thought, breakfast!
When she'd fed them and gone off to get some more I took the opportunity to get a shot of the nest. They were very quiet but the female was up in the tree making that clicking warning noise that blackbirds make. She must have been saying 'Keep very still and very quiet'.
Good chicks, they obeyed and stayed still so I could get a good shot of them.
