Owl Cake

Preparations are happening for L’s 6th birthday this Friday.

Six years ago I had been in labour for around 36 hours or so by now. Urgh... that was a long four days.

My friend makes L’s cake for me every year and this year is themed to match a little outdoor gathering we’re having at the weekend.

It’s great how fluffy she has made the icing look for the owl’s feathers.
