Whale of a time

Took a drive to Dundee today to see this new 'whale'. Difficult to get a photo which illustrates its whaleness but from certain angles it did. It was erected last year on the waterfront, next to the new V&A museum to represent Dundee's past history of whaling. One of our past clients at the day centre was actually employed in the whaling industry ( he always used to make me laugh by singing Whale meat again to the Vera Lynn tune ). There are speakers around the whale which give out whale song, a nice touch.
Popped into the V&A for the first time. Not really my cup of tea but an interesting looking building from the outside.
