Reigate Hill

I decided to go to Reigate Hill today. I'd never been before and I was surprised how much there was to see in a relatively small area. Apart from stunning views, there was Reigate fort, a pill box, a memorial to nine American Airmen whose B17 Bomber crashed into the Hill in 1945, and the Inglis Memorial which I've chosen as my Blip.
This Memorial was donated to the Borough of Reigate in 1909 by Lieutenant Colonel Sir Robert William Inglis. It was originally built as a drinking fountain for horses at the top of the original main route over Reigate Hill. The first extra is the Memorial's cobalt and and gold ceiling which depicts an astronomer's view of the heavens. The second extra shows the cloudless sky.
