Everyone's Taking Down Their Decorations

Well, except for me. I'm the last holdout on the block, but I think it's time to drag all those boxes out and tidy up. With today's high temp of 74 degrees, it's a little hard to feel Christmasy. 

Our big accomplishment today was changing a lightbulb. In case you're gonna ask, it took two people. And a very tall ladder. In order to google how to do it, I first had to figure out it was called a globe pendant. I'm pretty sure the burnt bulb was the original, installed when the fixture was new, thirty years ago. No wonder I didn't remember how to do it.
