Elsewhere, I picked the best day of the year for a wee solo sportive around the north & east of our beautiful city. We really are blessed with the most amazing off-road paved routes by ra cooncil of old....now if the current bunch would just see sense and build separate cycle lanes on the main arterial routes instead of those killer bus/cycle lane things, we could move on to the next topic to complain about.
