Passports

One of my tasks yesterday was to apply for a new drivers licence as mine runs out in a few weeks.

One of the things I needed to take with me as proof of identity was something official with a photo on it, for example, a passport.

No worries. I even have two passports to choose from :)

When I got them out though I was horrified to find they'd both expired . . . . . . . in 2009!!! I guess I haven't travelled for a while!

Given the holiday I'm hoping to take later in the year I figured this was a timely reminder to get them both renewed. I was impressed to find I can even renew my Kiwi passport online. Good stuff :)

And in other news - it rained today!! Yay!! Hopefully that's the start of everything beginning to freshen up again. Whoever thought we'd be glad to have rain?!
